There was a boy
A very strange enchanted boy
They say he wandered very far, very far
Over land and sea
A little shy
And sad of eye
But very wise
Was he
And then one day
A magic day he came my way
And while we spoke of many things, fools and kings
This he said to me
“The greatest thing
You’ll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved
In return”

C’era un ragazzo molto strano incantato
Dicono che vagò molto lontano, molto lontano
Per terra e per mare
Un po’ timido e dagli occhi tristi
Ma lui era molto saggio
E poi un giorno
Un giorno magico è passato per la mia strada
E mentre abbiamo parlato di molte cose
Di folli e e re
Questo mi ha detto:
“La cosa più grande che tu possa imparare
È solo quella di amare ed essere riamato.
La cosa più grande che tu possa imparare
